Anne's Story

A world shaped by land, sea, and the instinct to make.

I grew up in rural Somerset and Warwickshire, in a farming family where everything began with our hands. We made what we needed — clothes, dens, knitted things, improvised tools — not because it was fashionable, but because it was simply how life worked. Creativity wasn’t a hobby; it was the quiet pulse of our home. The fields, hedgerows and shifting seasons were my first teachers in texture, form and patience.

For almost thirty years I’ve lived on the Welsh coast, where the cliffs and tidal rhythms have become part of my inner landscape. The sculptural strata, the way the sea carves and reveals, the raw edges softened by time — these are the shapes that find their way into my jewellery. Every piece begins with that same instinctive, hands-on making I grew up with. Metal is pushed, folded, reticulated and coaxed into forms that feel lived‑in, tactile, and deeply human.

My work isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. About the marks of a life, the layers we carry, the beauty in what’s weathered and real.

I create jewellery for people who want to wear something that holds a story, not just a shine. My pieces are made to be lived with, warmed by skin, shaped by time, and woven into the stories of the people who choose them.

When you step into my world — whether in the Penarth gallery, at the bench, or through a single ring — you’re invited into a slower, more intentional way of being. A place where craft is felt, not just seen. Where jewellery becomes a companion, a reminder of where you’ve come from, and a quiet celebration of who you’re becoming.

This is jewellery with roots. Jewellery with weathering. Jewellery with a pulse.

And I’d love to welcome you in.
