Collection: Lyndsay Fairley

Lyndsay’s ‘Na Mara’ collection, meaning ‘of the sea’ in Gaelic, is based on the messy, ugly compositions of debris created by the tides along Scottish beaches. Captured by the unconventional beauty of these moments, this is a theme that Lyndsay continues to develop in her work.

A mixture of precious and base metals build a palette based on these beach finds; sandy tones of copper, silver, and gold, contrasted by the stark black of enamel or patinated metal, create pattern in metal like seaweed on the sand.

Each piece is handmade by Lyndsay at her workshop in Glasgow, created in small batches and to order.
